1. To find a cottage. first select a Region or Location eg Cornwall, Lizard or Roseland. You can also use this box to search specifically for a known cottage, use part of name eg "tant" or "hill". You can search for other criteria eg close to Beach Moor etc. (just type it in), or look for all properties available on particular dates type in Sep or 02-Sep. Remember to choose the date of the change-over day eg Friday. To select a particular list price, type Price £600 (ie leaving space). You can use a combination try pasting "hill {List_Price} lt "£550" "(without the external "s) in the search box - ie this will give you the prices of Hill House less than £550- or searching for a specific date for Tantallon in September, try "Tantallon 09 sep " (without the external "s).

2. The full format for the date field is 15-apr-05, but you can use 15-apr, 01-apr (you must use rwo digits (and all date entries will be on the the date of the change-over day say, Friday) or just apr .
